I started painting from a very young age in the Belgian countryside.
The first period of more intense work came in the seventies which culminated in working with all those special characters that drifted to "La Brasserie" in Ellezelles. I mean Jipi D'Haenens, Pierrot Beaucamp, Alain Bureau, Herman Bos, Germaine Steurs, Paul Timper, and so many others.
After leaving Belgium in the mid eighties I stopped painting while immersing myself in the study of Chinese traditional culture.
I restarted painting in 2000 and I finished a series of 20 gouaches.
From 2002 to 2006 I terminated the Artsense collection of 40 acrylics and 300 Acrylic variations in Waukesha Wisconsin.
The grand project started while living in Milford Pennsylvania and continues in Beijing. This is the last painting project in my life.
The plan is to expand the narrative until my health no longer allows me to paint...
